This girl may be a bit older in years but she has a zest for life like a puppy and is in great shape too! Birdie is great with kids of all sizes and loves her people. She is good with dogs and loves to play but when it’s time to slow down and relax, she is a master cuddler. Birdie is good in the crate and housebroken. She can be a little noisy at first but will settle down and rest calmly, especially if she’s had a walk or ample playtime. She loves to watch the birds and gets very excited to follow them and “point.” Birdie would do best with a securely fenced yard and a family who is home more often than not. Her greatest joy (aside from the birds) is giving and receiving love from people. She has been through a board and train program because she struggled with some anxiety after being surrendered. She has settled in nicely in her foster home and would make a wonderful addition to a family who can be patient enough to let her get settled in. Age:  8 years old Weight: 37 lbs. All Bo he really wants is to be loved on. He craves it but doesn't fully understand how to show it back. He is getting there though. Before he was rescued, he probably just ate to survive now but now he can eat and food is sooooooo yummy to him. He will try to take it out of another dogs mouth.....yes....he will. He isn't afraid of any size dog either. He is such a loving, expressive and comical little man and since he now feels so good he will need some help understanding how to share and wait his turn. So, he will need to eat separate from others until he does. He is housebroken, knows how to use the dog door and doesn't mark. His family left him at the shelter with his bed, crate and a bag of food and never looked back. He has waited 9 years to have a family that loved him enough to properly take care of him and he deserves it. He doesn't need to be let down again. Could you be his forever home? Clyde was found starving and skin and bones on the side of the road, but you can tell he belonged to someone once and has had some training. He’s very sweet despite his past and loves chest rubs and playing with toys. Clyde would do best in a home with no cats and no kids unless they are older. He can be spooked by children and also jumps up when excited, but is easily corrected. He can also be mouthy when playing. Children and men need slower intros with him but he does fine afterwards. He has a strong prey drive and will chase cats when they run from him. He’s a very loving boy who responds well to other dogs' desires to play or not. He loves toys and is great at “killing” them. He is treat driven and will mind well to sit before eating. He has shown fence/yard territorial aggression and some issues guarding people. He needs strict boundaries and needs to earn privileges. He’s not aggressive with food or toys. He’s wonderful in his crate and he has gone straight in from day one and doesn’t mind it at all. He sleeps through the night in it. He is also house trained and does well on a leash. Clyde will be a great addition for the right family!  Age: 8 mo Weight: 38 lbs. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Edie is truly a sweet, devoted, and loyal dog who will melt your heart. Edie is equally happy playing with her humans exerting her energy as she is cuddling on her dog bed with a bone. She is crate trained, house trained, incredibly affectionate, and is highly trainable. She would benefit from a home with someone who has the time and knowledge to provide her with the proper training she needs. Edie is looking for a strong handler who is willing to continue her training and teach her proper dog and other on-leash introductions. She is a medium to higher energy dog, and would love a yard to exert her energy. Edie has shown minor gait changes due to a previous injury to her back leg, but it has never slowed her down! She is a happy, energetic girl. Edie will do best as an only pet, or in a family without small pets or small children. She is a wonderful companion and she can't wait to find her perfect furever home!  Age: 1.5 years Weight: 35 lbs. Please Note: All dogs are posted until they are officially adopted. Hank is an strong energetic guy. He loves people and treats. He needs someone that can handle his energy and help him perfect his manners. He would love a family and a yard to burn off energy. Hank does well with other dogs with proper intros as he is a big boy with lots of energy. He has met cats in controlled environments. It is unknown what he would do if just free with them. He does like to chase the chickens. Older children because he is rambunctious and might knock small children over. He crates and takes his meals in there. He will bark for a couple of minutes at night time but settles in quickly (<15 min). He is still learning not to pull on leash. He did not like his fecal exam at the vet and needed a muzzle for everyone’s safety. He was also noted to be rambunctious during the exam and needing some manners but sweet. Hank can't wait to meet his furever family! Age:  3 years Weight: 65 lbs. Heavens Tabetsy (who goes by “Tabby”) is one of the sweetest and most affectionate dogs you will ever meet. She is also one of the shyest, as she gets very scared around new people and places. Tabby’s first instinct is to run away from what she is scared of, but if that is not an option, she will freeze and occasionally go to the bathroom out of fear. However, once she is comfortable with you, Tabby acts like a normal playful puppy and will shower you with kisses and cuddles! Tabby takes a few days to warm up to a new person and about a week to become fully comfortable. She gets very attached to her people and tries to stay as close as possible around the house. She loves attention and will remind you with some hilariously uncoordinated pawing! Tabby is very playful and absolutely loves other pups! She is most comfortable around other dogs, and she will need a home with at least one confident pup to help show her the ropes. When she is not playing, Tabby is very calm inside and will relax next to her person or in her crate. The crate is her safe space and she is always happy to spend time there. Tabby is fully leash trained and is looking for an adopter who will continue to expose her to new situations. She might never warm up immediately to new people, but she is already making great progress learning that the world is not so scary! Tabby is a special girl, and if you give her time to warm up, the affection and gratitude she gives in return will make you fall madly in love. Age: 1.5 years Weight: 50 lbs.
